Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
As our Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee our accounting and payroll operations. You'll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to establish financial systems, ensure compliance, and guide financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support our business objectives and growth plans.
- Create and maintain financial models to forecast growth, cash flow, and capital requirements.
- Establish KPIs and financial metrics to measure business performance and guide decision-making.
- Advise leadership on financial implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Support fundraising efforts by preparing financial documentation and participating in investor discussions.
- Develop pricing strategies and revenue models for our coaching platform.
- Establish and oversee accounting systems and processes appropriate for an early-stage company.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable to contractors and payment systems for coaches.
- Ensure compliance with contractor payment regulations and tax reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in financial leadership roles.
- Strong accounting background with hands-on experience managing accounting functions.
- Experience with payroll systems and processes, including contractor payments.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Understanding of SaaS, marketplace, or subscription business models.
- Experience working with early-stage companies and limited resources.
- Comfort with a lightweight, advisory role with flexible time commitment.
